Who we are
The home of UK padel
The Padel Directory brings together every club, coach, business and event in British padel, and gives the people behind them the tools to keep their own entry accurate.
Why the directory exists
Padel is the fastest growing racket sport in the country, and for a long time the only way to find out where to play was a patchwork of club websites, booking apps and social posts.
The Padel Directory pulls that together: where the courts are, what they cost, who coaches there, what is on, and who builds, supplies and services the clubs behind it all.
For players it is the fastest way to find a court near them. For clubs and padel businesses it is a free, permanent shopfront that they control — plus the enquiries, insights and tools that come with it.
How we work
Owners keep their own page current
Every venue, coach and business can claim their listing and edit it directly, so details come from the people who actually run them rather than a scraped copy.
Free to be listed
A standard listing costs nothing. Sponsorship, featured placement and advertising are the paid options, and they are always labelled.
Built around how players search
People look for padel by town, not by database. Region and town pages, a map finder and one search box across everything are the backbone of the directory.
One national picture
Courts, coaches, brands, installers, events and jobs in a single index, so the growth of UK padel is visible in one place.
Founders' story
Started by two players who could not find a court
Ben and George started playing padel together and hit the same wall every week: courts were opening across the country, but nobody could tell you where they were, who coached there or which brands were worth trusting. Club websites were patchy, social media was noisy, and half the new venues were not on any map at all.
So they built a spreadsheet, then a website, then The Padel Directory. The rule from day one has never changed: one national picture of UK padel, free for players and free to be listed, with owners keeping their own pages current.
Today the directory lists venues, coaches, businesses, events and jobs in every UK region, runs the TPD Connect community and hosts the UK Padel Convention. It is still run the same way it began: by people who play.
“We wanted the page we wished existed the first time we searched for a court.”
